Winter Storm Warning issued December 26 at 12:50PM EST until December 27 at 6:00AM EST by NWS

The National Weather Service has issued the following alert:

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EST
THURSDAY...
* ICE ACCUMULATION...ONE TO TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH OF ICE
ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE.
* ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW.
* HAZARD TYPE...HEAVY SNOW MIXED WITH SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN AT
TIMES.
* TIMING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON...AND WILL
MIX WITH SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN AT TIMES. THE WINTRY
PRECIPITATION WILL TAPER TO A PROLONGED PERIOD OF VERY LIGHT
SNOW AND POSSIBLY FREEZING DRIZZLE THIS EVENING.
* WINDS...NORTHEAST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.
* TEMPERATURES...IN THE UPPER 20S.
* IMPACTS...TREACHEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO A
WINTRY MIX OF SNOW AND ICE. THE WEIGHT OF THE SNOW AND ICE
ACCUMULATIONS...COMBINED WITH GUSTY WINDS...COULD KNOCK DOWN
SOME TREE LIMBS AND POWER LINES.
