The National Weather Service has issued the following alert:

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM EST
FOR TUCKER AND GARRETT COUNTIES...
AT 1146 AM EST...SEVERE SHOWERS WERE DETECTED ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM 11 MILES NORTH OF GRANTSVILLE TO BLOOMINGTON TO ELK...
AND WERE MOVING EAST AT 55 MPH.
THESE SHOWERS HAVE PRODUCED DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH WITH
TREES DOWN IN PRESTON COUNTY.
* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
GATZMER... KITZMILLER... NEW GERMANY...
BLACKWATER FALLS... GRANTSVILLE... BIG RUN STATE PARK...
THOMAS... GORMAN... BITTINGER...
ELK... MERRILL... PINEY GROVE...
THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAY WILL BE IMPACTED...
I-68 IN MARYLAND BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 16 AND 30.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
THIS LINE OF SHOWERS HAS PRODUCED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. MOVE INTO A
