...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM SATURDAY
TO 7 PM EST SUNDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A WIND
CHILL ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST SATURDAY.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 TO 10 INCHES WITH THE MOST ACCUMULATION IN
THE HIGHER RIDGE ELEVATIONS.
* SNOW BEGINNING...MID-MORNING SATURDAY.
* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW...SATURDAY AFTERNOON INTO MIDDAY
SUNDAY.
* SNOW ENDING...SUNDAY EVENING.
* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO SNOW
COVERED ROADS. FROST BITE AND HYPOTHERMIA ARE POSSIBLE IF
PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN BEFORE GOING OUTDOORS TONIGHT.
* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.
* WIND CHILL...10 BELOW TO 20 BELOW TONIGHT AND EARLY SATURDAY.
