THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR
* PORTIONS OF WESTERN MARYLAND...PENNSYLVANIA AND WEST
VIRGINIA...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN WESTERN
MARYLAND...GARRETT. IN PENNSYLVANIA...ALLEGHENY...ARMSTRONG...
FAYETTE...FAYETTE RIDGES...GREENE...INDIANA...WASHINGTON...
WESTMORELAND AND WESTMORELAND RIDGES. IN WEST VIRGINIA...
BROOKE...MARION...MARSHALL...MONONGALIA...OHIO...PRESTON...
TUCKER AND WETZEL.
* THROUGH LATE TONIGHT
* LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AMOUNTS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES ARE
POSSIBLE. THESE AMOUNTS ARE SUFFICIENT TO CAUSE FLASH FLOODING
IN URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND IN LOCATIONS THAT HAVE
RECEIVED HEAVY RAIN DURING THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS.
* THE BETTER CHANCE FOR FLASH FLOODING IS ANTICIPATED THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING OVER THE WATCH AREA.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING.
MONITOR FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLASH
FLOOD OCCUR.
