The National Weather Service has issued the following alert:

MIDNIGHT EST THURSDAY NIGHT...
...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THURSDAY TO NOON EST
FRIDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM NOON THURSDAY TO MIDNIGHT EST THURSDAY NIGHT. A WIND CHILL
ADVISORY HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED. THIS WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS IN
EFFECT FROM 7 PM THURSDAY TO NOON EST FRIDAY.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES.
* SNOW BEGINNING...AROUND NOON.
* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW...2 PM TO 10 PM.
* SNOW ENDING...AFTER MIDNIGHT.
* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO SNOW
COVERED ROADS.
* WINDS...NORTH 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.
* WIND CHILL...AS LOW AS 15 TO 20 BELOW ZERO DUE TO TEMPERATURES
AROUND ZERO TO 5 ABOVE...AND WINDS NORTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH
GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.
* TIMING...LATE THURSDAY EVENING INTO FRIDAY MORNING.
* IMPACTS...FROST BITE AND HYPOTHERMIA ARE POSSIBLE IF
PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
