The National Weather Service has issued the following alert:

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST THIS
AFTERNOON...
...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST TODAY...
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 6 INCHES TOTAL...WITH SIGNIFICANT
BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW...ESPECIALLY IN THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS.
* SNOW ENDING...BY EARLY AFTERNOON.
* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITY DUE TO BLOWING SNOW
TONIGHT.
* WINDS...NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.
* WIND CHILL...AS LOW AS 20 BELOW DUE TO TEMPERATURES 2 TO 10
ABOVE...AND WINDS NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35
MPH.
* TIMING...INTO FRIDAY MORNING.
* IMPACTS...FROST BITE AND HYPOTHERMIA ARE POSSIBLE IF
PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
