...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST
SUNDAY...
...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING
TO 11 AM EST SUNDAY...
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES...WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS UP TO
6 INCHES WHERE A MORE PERSISTENT SNOW BAND SETS UP THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. IN THE RIDGES...5 TO 7 INCHES.
* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...THROUGH EARLY
AFTERNOON...LESSENING SOMEWHAT...THEN PICKING UP IN INTENSITY
AGAIN LATE AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY IN THE EVENING.
* SNOW ENDING...LATE SATURDAY EVENING.
* WIND...SOUTHWEST TURNING NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP
TO 35 MPH.
* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO SNOW
COVERED ROADS. STRONG WIND WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF
SNOW...WITH VISIBILITY REDUCED BELOW ONE QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.
* TEMPERATURES...FALLING FROM THE 20S TO NEAR ZERO TONIGHT.
* WIND CHILL...AS LOW AS 22 BELOW OVERNIGHT.
* IMPACTS...FROST BITE AND HYPOTHERMIA ARE POSSIBLE IF PRECAUTIONS
