THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR
* PORTIONS OF WESTERN MARYLAND...PENNSYLVANIA AND NORTHERN WEST
VIRGINIA...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN WESTERN
MARYLAND...GARRETT. IN PENNSYLVANIA...ALLEGHENY...ARMSTRONG...
BEAVER...BUTLER...CLARION...FAYETTE...FAYETTE RIDGES...
FOREST...GREENE...INDIANA...JEFFERSON PA...LAWRENCE...MERCER...
VENANGO...WASHINGTON...WESTMORELAND AND WESTMORELAND RIDGES.
IN NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA...MARION...MONONGALIA...PRESTON AND
TUCKER.
* THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING
* A HALF TO ONE INCH OF ADDITIONAL RAIN IS FORECAST FOR THE WATCH
AREA...WITH UP TO 1.5 INCHES POSSIBLE ALONG THE RIDGES.
* SOME CREEKS ARE ALREADY RUNNING HIGH FROM PREVIOUS RAIN. THESE
WILL FLOOD QUICKLY SHOULD HEAVY RAIN DEVELOP.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR FLASH
FLOODING.
BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND QUICKLY SHOULD FLASH FLOOD
WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
