The National Weather Service has issued the following alert:

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A
* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR WESTMORELAND AND FAYETTE COUNTIES IN
SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA...GARRETT COUNTY IN WESTERN MARYLAND
AND TUCKER...PRESTON...MARION AND MONONGALIA COUNTIES IN
NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA.
* FROM 5 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH 7 AM SUNDAY MORNING.
* PRIOR HEAVY RAIN HAS SATURATED THE GROUND IN MANY AREAS. SHOWERS
AND STORMS WILL FORM LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING IN
THESE SATURATED AREAS.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
